| We are inviting you to join Courtenay and District Fish &
Game Protective Association. We are an organization of hunters, anglers and
outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy the same interests as you do. By enhancing our fish and wildlife stocks through government sponsored programs, along with promoting sound conservation practices and harvesting limits, we aim to have our renewable fish and wildlife resources forever. By joining our Association, you will also automatically become a member of the BC Wildlife Federation. The BCWF is the outdoor enthusiast's voice to government and industry regarding important decisions affecting every facet of your outdoor life. The BCWF and your local Association need more members to receive a stronger voice when they negotiate on your behalf. There are 30 active committees in the Courtenay Fish & Game Association currently working for the sporter's rights to fish, hunt and use outdoor resources. Some of them listed below show the broad spectrum of the outdoor related issues the Federation is involved in for your benefit. ACTIVE BCWF COMMITTEES
We have all seen something that bothers us while fishing or hunting: whether it be industrial polution, loss of access, poaching, or unfair regulations and we have all stated: "I wish someone would do something about this problem." Well, the BCWF is doing something about your concerns as a sportsman and is writing the letters we all should be writing to correct the problems that exist.
