Shotgun Facility

Trap, Skeet and 5-Stand are all up and running, at least on a minimum basis.  We await water service prior to an “official” opening.  Regular practice days are Thursday and Sunday, for Trap and Skeet.  Start time is 10:00 AM and we remain as long as there are people shooting…usually 2:00 PM or so.  If you are coming up, bring your lunch as we have no food available at this time.  (Wait till we have water!!).  In addition, starting in December, we will be shooting 5 Stand on the first Saturday of each month starting at 10:00 AM.  The trap and Skeet fields will NOT be open on these Saturdays, except for the December date where we will open for the PITA postal shoot if there is enough interest.  Come out and give one or more of these disciplines a try!  We have shells available for sale at $7.00 per box, and a round of Trap or Skeet is $5.00  (Members can buy a 11 punch Target Card for $50.00).  We also have people who will loan you a gun to try out the discipline you are interested in, and give you some pointers to get you going!

PROGRAM

Sunday, July 26th

Event #1 – 50-12 GAUGE TARGETS- 09:00 AM

Event #2 - 50-20 GAUGE TARGETS -10:30 AM

Event #3 – 50- 28 GAUGE TARGETS –12:00 PM

Event #4 – 50-410 BORE TARGETS –1:30 PM

Classification according to current NSSA rules.

Entry fees: $13.00 per event,  INCLUDES NSSA AND BCSA FEES

OPTION:          $ 5.00 PER EVENT

PAYOUTS

$2.00 per shooter will be awarded to champion in each event.

 $3.00 per event will be returned to class winners based on High Gun
system - 1 place for every 4 shooters in class.

Shoot offs will be held for champion and all class winners - doubles at
stations 3,4 & 5, total score by station.

LUNCH: AVAILABLE AT THE CLUBHOUSE FOR SHOOTERS AND GUESTS AT NOMINAL CHARGE

SHELLS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE CLUB
 

The Club reserves the right to make changes to the program when required. Orange Lawry Targets will be thrown for all events.
There is a limited amount of space for campers & RV's at the Courtenay Fish and game Trap & Skeet facilities - no hookups.

 PRE-REGISTRATION STRONGLY ADVISED,  As this shoot is limited to 20 entrants per event.
