September 2007

Issue - 59

The Campbell River Rider News is a monthly newsletter written in support of all motorcycle enthusiasts in and around Campbell River BC. It doesn't matter what you ride, only that we all have a common interest in motorcycling. For more information on placing want ads, etc., see the Contacts page.

It's early September and we have returned safe and sound from our venture south. We had near perfect weather while we were there and apparently, it wasn't so nice on the home front. Ah well, there's always next year. For a blow by blow account of our trip to Reno, check out this month's Local Gossip section and also the Editorial.

I have decided that since I am supposed to be retired, I will now publish this website whenever it suits me. This may or may not be about once a month. The advertising section of this newsletter is pretty much non existent so I don't feel that I'm in debt to anybody there. I've found that since I retired that everyone wants me to do something for them all the time and I have very little time to do what I want. Sooooo..... I have decided to do what I want instead. If that seems sort of selfish or self serving well I guess it is but it's my life and I'm old and cranky now and I don't really care! So there!

There are a few new items in the Want-ad section this month. Check it out to see if there's something you want or need or just have to have!

    Ride Safe, Far And Often

Contributors for the September issue; Dave Dawson, Del & Colette Collin, Eugene Van Enter, Randy Brasch, Jim Forsyth, Rex & Anne Fransen,  and I'm sorry if I missed anyone else!
