VANCOUVER SAILOUT ![]()
Vancouver is one of the most beautiful ports in the world. The north shore mountains form a scenic backdrop to the harbour. Sailing out past North Vancouver and Stanley Park, under Lions Gate Bridge, past West Vancouver and Howe Sound is a spectacular beginning to your Alaska cruise. On very clear days you can see magnificent Mount Baker in Washington State, to the East, with its many glaciers.
These photos will help you experience a Vancouver sailout. They feature cruise ships sailing from here since 1995. The photos are © Susan Milne, 2004.
