Throughout the Bible God has described himself as the “God of creation”. Hundreds of times he has emphasized his abilities and power.

When Job came to the end of his “rope” God intervened with four chapters of a creation seminar. (“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?”)

When God came in the person of Jesus, he spoke about being around at the beginning of the world; he made several references to Genesis as a literal event. He clearly supported the writings of Moses who authored Genesis (John5:45). Also when Paul approached the Greek philosophers about the “unknown God” he first talked about the “God that made the world and all things therein”.

Who are we to say that we came about by some evolutionary method?

The evolution theory is well known to be popular because it attempts to explain life without a Creator. This is very desirable to a fallen man, who wishes to be his own god, (ye shall be as gods, Gen 3:5). And for anyone to say that God used this ugly method of death, disease and struggle, does not understand the evolution theory.

This attempt to fantasize the first chapters of God’s word has caused some to wonder about, and many to reject the Bible.
