In 1993 "A Nicol Street Christmas" began as an idea in the minds of Pierre Komen and Damian Graham. The concept bloomed into a debut cassette release, raising money and awareness for the Canadian Liver Foundation and showcasing the talents of many Vancouver Island talents. The Idea of bringing their musical "family" together to make good music and raise money for those in need proved very popular with sponsors and the public alike and provided the momentum for two further CD projects. In it's history the music from "A Nicol Street Christmas" has raised over $2000 for numerous charities, been featured on radio stations across Canada and as far away as Irish television!
