You get up in the morning
You stumble out of bed
Head down to the kitchen
You have to feed your head
And when that coffee's dripping
You can take that morning shower
Take comfort soon it will be ready
Coffee is your morning flower
And when you pour the first cup
Familiar aroma is in the air
That first sip is the greatest thing
A great moment we all do share
And when the pot is finished
You're charged up for the day
Coffee is the best beginning
You now can go out and play
