The Ride

She stared that bull right in the eyes
And told him to his face
She'd ride him to the very end
And then mount him on a base

For he was made of legends
The story is well told
That no one has ever ridden him
And no one has been so bold

With chaps and spurs adorning her
And he a make shift rope
The crowd was loud cheering her
For she was their last hope

She climbs on him and holds her hat
And says a little prayer
One day she hopes that she will have
A story she can share

She rides him to the very end
That's why you see him here
A statue of that famous bull
And the cowgirl he did fear

And If you believe my story
I've another one to tell
I wrestled with an alligator
And I have met Alexandra Bell
