Meatballs in Beer Sauce

1 12 ounce can beer
3 cups ketchup
2 tsp. onion salt
2 tbsp. Worchstershire sauce
2 lb. ground moose, elk, buffalo or
venison (or just plain ole ground beef
1 cup bread or cracker crumbs
2 eggs
2 tbsp. onion flakes
salt & pepper

Mix up the meat with the eggs, bread crumbs, onion flakes and some salt
and pepper. Roll up walnut sized meatballs and broil, turning once to
lightly brown. Meanwhile, in a crock pot, heat up the sauce of beer,
Ketchup, onion salt and Worchestershire sauce and additional
pepper if desired. Add the meatballs and cook on a slow heat
for 3-4 hours or more.

Served with toothpicks, this makes a great
appetizer for a whole camp
or serve as a dinner, spooned
over noodles
