Remember Dick and Jane? They were the staple readers of
American education from the 1930's to the 1960's.
To many Americans, the simple phrase, "See Spot Run" brings a warm and nostalgic smile.
Many remember their little sister Sally, Spot the black and white cocker spaniel
, Puff the yellow cat, Tim the teddy bear and Jack the clown. The animated stories were
chocked full of family values and something children of the era could usually relate to, or at
times envy.
See Jane now. Jane has grown up and has become a woman of the new century.
