Lady On the Moon

THE LADY ON THE MOON

You can find her sitting on the moon
Safe in the heaven's above
Catching and riding the moon beams
Wearing a dress lined with silver doves

She's been hiding nigh on fifteen years
Running from her faceless MonSter
Not thinking what may come one day
Knowing today is what really matters

The lady is stronger than strong
As she sprinkles star dust all around
Staying ahead of the dark moon shadows
Blessed with family and friends she's found

And when the dark clouds surrond her
And her tears start falling like rain
Her waters brew up a raging storm
She rides till the storm she does tame

Chorus:
You can find her sitting on the moon
Safe in the heavens above
Catching and riding the moon beams
Wearing a dress lined with silver doves

Racing on thru the night
Clashing with the roaring thunder
Heading off that nameless MonSter
For the lady will never surrender

All that she holds dear in life
Is what her fight ignites
Surviving the only way she knows how
Riding on those moonbeam lights

Chorus:
You can find her sitting on the moon
Safe in the heavens above
Catching and riding moon beams
Wearing a dress lined with silver doves
