a good book
So I went downtown
to visit
my local library
I wanted to read one
of the newest releases
by one of my
favorite authors
Unfortunately
all the new releases
have a two, three or five day
loan time
Who can put their life on hold
to finish a good book?
Then I had what is called
an "epiphany"
A moment of heightened awareness,
And at that precise time
everything became crystal clear
I knew what I had to do

All short term book loans
come with a new law.
Housework and work
are further suspended
during time of reading book
