The Truth Behind the Handicap Sticker Users And Our

But I look "So Good".
This can be quite frustrating for us MSers, because
despite the way we look on the outside, we may be
hurting on the inside. Our fatigue , weakness and exhuastion
may put major limitations on our walking distances.
The damage from this disease is not always noticable
from the outside.

The word disability is defined in the dictionary as
"a disadvantage or deficiency, especially a physical or mental impairment
that prevents or restricts normal achievement"
or "something that hinders or incapacitates."

Not all MSers use a cane or are in a wheelchair.
Every MS patient is different; each has their own individual
symptoms, degree of symptoms and level of limitations.
The trip to the store and having the use of handicap parking may be
just what is needed as somedays we have to use our energy wisely.
Perhaps it is just a real hot day and getting into an air conditioned
building fast is what is needed so we have enough energy to make it back
to our cars.

Do not judge us cause we are LOOKING SO GOOD. I guarantee
that you do not want to walk in our shoes.
