Many a day went by
When darkness played a game with me
I didn't know all the rules
But I had this light within me.
I held the light in my heart
And unbeknown to me
He battled with the darkness
And kept it from taking me.
Then darkness came a second time
And tried again to sneak into me
But my faith in the light, still shone real bright
And He conquered darkness once again.
Darkness may visit me again
It can happen to you as well
Just hold on to the light within
And life will go on quite well.

I am a two time survivor. Once from cancer

to say I am in remission and had the
less serious symptoms.
