call my ugly toe nails.
When all of a sudden I thought
why not paint them.
Yes my first time coloring
my toe nails with nail polish.
And of course I painted them
my favorite color *PURPLE*
All summer long I kept them polished
I admired them as they grew
I also encouraged my friends to paint
their toe nails purple
Even mailed purple nail polish back east
Then after September 11th
I had what is called
an "epiphany"
A moment of heightened awareness,
A revelation,
which manifested itself into an enlightenment
At this time
everything became crystal clear
I suddenly knew what I had to do
PAINT MY TOE NAILS
