David C. Wiens
I specialize in software and hardware design for small embedded systems. My current favourite microcontroller is the ultra-low-power MSP430 from Texas Instruments. When I get some "spare time" I will update this web page to show some of the products I have developed for my clients, and for myself.
In the 1980's I mostly used the Motorola 6809 microprocessor. Some of you may remember my Sardis Technologies ST-2900 computer boards (sold mostly in kit form), and the "no halt" DMC floppy disk controller for the Radio Shack Color Computer.
NOTE -- September 8, 2016 marked the 40th anniversary of the first meeting of the West Coast Computer Society (WCCS) -- and I was there! The WCCS was the first microcomputer club in the Vancouver, BC (Canada) area, and met until 1990.
I exhibited at the Vintage Computer Festival Pacific Northwest 2018 on February 10th and 11th, 2018.My Sardis Technologies' home page: Sardis Technologies
