Dan and Glenda Nykon have meticulously brought this 1920 Craftsman style
- what is sometimes called a "California Bungalow" - to an
advanced state of external and internal restoration. The work done
represents an enormous effort and has produced a harmony of home and
grounds that clearly allows us to sense that 80 years of occupancy of
the Fredrick house also enriches all of us by providing yet another
solid connection with the feelings of permanence we all like to have
concerning the community in which we make our homes. The numerous
exterior details, together with stained and leaded glass windows and
doors, are augmented by the magnificent rhodedendrons spaced throughout
the grounds. This home is truly a jewel in a fine setting.
