Jensen House

Gunter Post and Charlotte Wawrik have done excellent work in preserving both the inside and the exterior of this large Craftsman-style hillside residence in Annieville that was built in 1912 for Alf Jensen's family.

Alf Jensen was the manager of the Annieville cannery. A driveway encircling a large fountain and sets of broad stairs leading up over steeply terraced lawns and flower gardens beneath mature treed provide a majestic setting for this tall and handsome home. For 90 years this residence has commanded an impressive view over the ever-changing scenes along the Fraser River and beyond to the mountains.
