Holy Rosary Transfers

    William Brennan Council # 8132 Kamloops, B.C.

Our council is asking for assistance from every council in the B.C. Yukon District to have every vehicle in their respective parishes displaying a Holy Rosary Transfer.

When we took our First degree we pledged to keep our rosary with us always, with Mary by our side we can never fail. Well, let us show our devotion to her for the rest of the world to see by displaying her sweet face surrounded by her rosary, reminding all of us to pray the rosary.

The cost for each is $2.50 with a minimum order of 20.

They are available in four colours; black, white, silver and gold. Shipped in equal quantities of each colour. Shipping is extra.

We accept cheque or money order only, payable to:    KofC Council #8132.

This is also a great opportunity for fund raising for your council or parish. At trials we sold for five dollars each and some even donated more. You and your council can decide what price you wish to charge or sell them by donation.

We are enclosing a sample transfer to show to your council at your next meeting. Please help us to spread this simple and important message to pray the rosary.

About Our Council
There had been a great need in Kamloops for a second council for a long, long time.  Finally under the direction of District Deputy Dale Scherer, Charter Grand Knight Mark Weiler and Charter Deputy Grand Knight John Wiens the wheels began to roll .  On May 26, 1982, in the basement of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, the charter was granted for the formation of the new council.  There were sixty-four charter members, and in only six months the membership had grown to seventy-six, proving the need for a council in Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish.  The charter members choose the name William Brennan Council, in memory of a former member.  William Brennan was once a State Deputy, as well as Grand Knight of Kamloops 1614 - no less than five times.  William Brennan also worked in the army huts during the World War.
