Office Policy
Here are some details to know before you arrive.
Fees
Our fee structure follows current British Columbia Dental Association fee guide rates for basic work.
This translates into affordable, quality dentistry to help you maintain excellent oral hygiene year after year.
Prior to proceeding with any major treatment, you will receive a plan outlining the costs, in order to make an informed decision based on coverage and circumstances.
Dental Insurance
As we are appointed the third party for insurance agreements, you are ultimately responsible for any portion not covered.
Our staff is pleased to help facilitate the insurance process by assisting with preparing and submitting the required forms for dental benefits. We are able to accept the assignment of benefits only when authorized and possible.
Payment
Patients who do not have insurance or insured patients who encounter a portion of fees that are not covered are asked to submit payment at the time of service. We offer several convenient payment options: cash, debit, MasterCard, Visa.
Cancellation
48 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment. *A $75.00 fee will be charged for inadequate notice or missed appointment.
Emergency Care
Should you encounter a dental emergency we are committed to providing you with the highest care and attention. Our staff will assist you with scheduling the best available time as well as plan for any further treatment that may be required.
New Patients
When you book please let us know the appointment is your first visit so we can prepare to meet you. By the end you will have a clear understanding of your oral health as well as an appreciation for the high standard of care we provide.
Transferring from another office?
We make the change easy. We will request that existing x-rays taken within the past 12 months be sent directly to us on your behalf. X-rays older than one year are considered limited in diagnostic value and should be re-taken by our staff in order to provide you with a current assessment of the health of your teeth.
During your first visit our staff will
Perform a thorough examination.
Review your intra-oral images with you and discuss in detail any particular concerns.
Complete your cleaning, if time permits and depending on your oral health.
Present your treatment options in order of priority and provide a written estimate for any proposed treatment.
