Finally, it's time to leave the hospital!

The girls next door welcome Sophie home
with chalk on the front walk.

Carol at the famous Macdonald Cradle.
The Stanley Cup of cradles, it has been in the family
since 1872. It has rocked both Sophie's grandmother
and her father.

Sophie nestles into Grandpa Bob's shoulder.

And on the other side of the family, grandfather Mike McGeer holds his sweetie, while Trish McGeer looks on approvingly.

"I think she likes me."

Friend Paula makes contact, too.

Enter the cousins: Rosie and Kia, delighted by the new arrival.

And more cousins... Connor and Emma are radiant!

In fact, with the addition of Angus and Auntie Nan, the whole
family is glowing. And Sophie is bathed in light.

Nancy gives Sophie some special hugs.

A time for reflection with Angus and Connor.

Pure innocence.
