Vancouver Canucks vs. Ottawa Senators

The Ottawa Senators joined the NHL for the 1992-93 season. The Canucks have played the Senators less than any other Canadian team. The Canucks and Senators are relatively even with one another in the wins column. The two teams have never met in the playoffs.

Historical Notes: Adrian Plavsic was the first Canuck to score against the Senators ... Pavel Bure scored his record-setting third penalty shot goal of the 1997-98 season against Damian Rhodes (February 28, 1998) ... The first time the Canucks won a game in a shootout came at the expense of the Ottawa Senators (December 9, 2005) ... The Canucks and Senators did not meet in 2007-08.
