Vancouver Canucks vs. Tampa Bay Lightning

The Tampa Bay Lightning joined the NHL for the 1992-93 season. Since then, the Canucks have dominated the meetings between the teams, winning almost every game. The two teams have never met in the playoffs.

Historical Notes: Robert Dirk was the first Canuck to score against the Lightning ... After their game was postponed because of snow, the Canucks beat the Lightning 7-0 (January 4, 1993) ... Daniel Sedin scored his first NHL goal against Tampa Bay (October 8, 2000) ... The Canucks and Lightning did not meet in 2005-06 ... As of the end of 2008-09, the Canucks have a better winning percentage (0.762) against the Lightning than any other active NHL team.
