Scooterists Resources Listings for Canadian scooters "for sale" |
![]() |
While the following give some of the online resources for locating a
scooter for sale, try locally first by asking all the people
you know ( grocery clerks, gas station attendants, co-workers , relatives,
neighbours etc) of any scooters that might be for sale. There are a surprising
amount of scooters tucked away in carports, garages etc that seem to get
stored for "the winter" or until money for a new tire comes along and remain
several years. I know a local guy who seems to find scooters everywhere.
He once found an old 60s lambretta under a pile of cases in a paint store.
Also any local clubs, motorcycle shop "message boards" or University/college
"message boards" might turn up something just right for you. It doesn't
hurt to put up a "scooter wanted" poster or two. I had some results from
this and was surprised at the amount of calls from neighbours as little
as two blocks away who had scooters they no longer used.
