Scooterist Resources

Its time there was a resource site for Canadian Scooterists.  There's the issue of retailers etc that can sell parts at prices Canadians can afford without paying in premium US$, Euros or for shipping from around the world. Getting the part locally is much cheaper. Then there's the issue of how to get that dream scooter imported without running into any hassles. So if you're Canadian, bookmark this page as a resource. The links below will take you to the relevant section. If you want to contribute a story, article or info please feel free to write. This site is non-denominational.  I like scooters regardless of their year of manufacture or country of origin. If you've ever ridden an old Italian and a newer Japanese scooter you'll know they share a lot in terms of the feeling you get when you ride them. This site wants to celebrate the similarities rather than get all argumentative about the differences. Whether you're restoring a 55 Lambretta LD from the ground up or you're shopping for a scooter as a means of cutting costs while attending school  I'm hoping this site helps you make a local connection.  Either way I know you'll come to wonder why more people don't ride scooters.
