Biofield Imaging, The Mind-Body Connection

Unquestionably, a strong link exists between physical and emotional stresses and specific illnesses. This connection has been well documented, for instance with regard to heart disease and hypertention and the so-called type A personality. Supressed anger can manifest as a headache, migraine, stomach pain, ulcers, or high blood pressure.

When our thoughts and emotions are being processed correctly, our body functions at its full vitality. Thoughts and emotions can block energy flow and cause disharmony in the energetic flow. When energy flow is blocked, we receive the information as an area of stress, or in some cases, as pain or disease.

Traditional Chinese Medical Theory is based on the proper flow of qi or energy moving through a meridian . There are 12 meridians or energy channels which run through the body, and each is associated with an organ. If qi is not flowing smoothly through the meridian, pain and symptoms result. For example, if there is too much heat or yang in the liver, this can result in headache or digestive symptoms (among other things). The treatment would be to pacify the liver, remove the heat and balance qi. The liver in TCM theory, is most affected by emotions such as anger.

Before the body produces a physical illness, energy indicators, such as prolonged lethargy and depression, tell us we are losing our vitality. In Traditional Chinese medicine this can be seen as an imbalance or weakness in the organs. People in such stages know they are not feeling well - they are picking up signals that their bodies are losing energy.

"Frequently medical tests indicate that nothing is wrong because they cannot yet identify anything happening at the physical level. Conventional medical tests have not way of measuring energy loss, and most physicians do not give credence to the idea of energy dysfunction. Yet new, perplexing diseases that do not respond to conventional medical treatments are emerging continually.

Some of them, like AIDS can be diagnosed through conventional medical methodology, while others seem to develop as a result of the high-voltage pace of our lives and our constant exposure to electromagnetic energy from computers, cellular phones, and many other devices which overload our environment. Illnesses such as chronic fatigue syndrome and environmental disorders, as present are 'unofficial' illnesses according to conventional medical standards, as they lack an identifiable microbial cause. Yet they are most certainly official illnesses within the energy definition of a health dysfunction, because their symptoms indicate that the patient is experiencing a loss of power in the energy field."

In reflexology, certain parts of the hand have an energetic link to the organs of the body. According to ancient Eastern healing sciences, the individual zones on the hand are not only connected with the body organs and the consciousness, but also with the subtle energy centres, the chakras.

The art of hand diagnosis plays an important medical, spiritual, and prognostic role in the Asian culture. In Chinese and Indian medical systems, diagnosis and therapies are done through certain areas of the face, ear, foot and hand, the reflex zones.

Using a handplate, via the combination of biofeedback, EEG (electroencephalogram) and ECG (electrocardiogram) technology, and the Eastern sciences, information about the organs is accurately translated to the actual colour frequency level. It shows exactly what a medical intuitive is able to see.

This German biofield imaging technology, was developed by medical intuitive Martina Gruber, and Ayurvedic doctor and pharmacist Dr. Balaji Tambe.

The system allows the user to analyze each organ and gland independantly, and gives greater insight into the energy of that body part.

The chakra percentage is the collective activity of all the organs and glands that are governed by that chakra. For example, the root chakra governs the rectum, anus, reproductive system, spine and bladder. The total chakra activity levels range in a value from 0-100, the optimum being at the 50% range.

The consciousness of a person can be detected very quickly with biofield imaging You can recognize at a glance the weaknesses in the body and in the mind. Inflammation often shows in red colours, immune reactions in yellow and depletion and depression in grey colours. The picture allows you to understand your energy through the language of colour.

As Larry Dossey, M.D. writes in Meaning and Medicine, we need to practice "Era III Medicine" - therapies that combine spiritual and physical, holistic and allopathic approaches to physical and emotional healing.

"Treatment in the energy field can include therapies such as acupuncture, chi kung, massage, homeopathy, and psychological counselling. The essential ingredient for energy healing remains, however, with the patient. No matter how urgently a warning of the probability of an illness, ....warnings do not heal. Action does."
