Initial Consultation: (50 min.)
$110. Please download the forms below, or arrive 15 minutes early to fill out forms. Time will be spent gathering information about your complaint, and detailing your medical history. Some time may be used to take a homeopathic case, so expect questions such as favourite foods, dreams and emotional concerns.

Second Consultation:(50 min.)
$110. This will entail a brief physical examination using standard diagnostic instruments including Naturopathic diagnosis. Other tests that may be required will be organized at this time.

Follow-up consultations:
$85 (30-45 min). Follow-up appointments are essential part of your Naturopathic and Homeopathic treatment to monitor your progress and adjust as needed. The duration of treatment will vary from person to person depending on factors such as your health history, the nature of your complaint, and your overall level of vitality. In Naturopathic philosophy, healing is similar to working through layers of an onion, what appears as a presenting complaint is infrequently the only layer that needs to be healed.

Acupuncture
Single visit: $85.
Package series of 5 - $300.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture treatments are given in groups of 5 or 10 for maximum benefit; appointments booked either weekly or twice weekly. The package must be used within a 4 month period.

Fees do not include G.S.T. All fees must be paid at the time of the visit including services, remedies and supplements, and cost of laboratory tests. Patients who have not been to the clinic for 6 mos or longer will be booked as an initial patient.

Short calls of less than 5 minutes will not have a charge.
Extended day time calls will have a charge of $25 and upwards, depending on time spent.
Daytime calls over 20 minutes will be billed as a regular visit.
All calls after hours/weekends/holidays: $40 and upwards, depending on time spent.

Cancellation Policy: Please keep track of your appointments. You are responsible for remembering the time and date of your consultation.
We keep a strict cancellation policy. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged $40.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or missed compleatly will be charged the full amount of the appointment booked.
Cancellation fees cannot be billed to MSP or extended health insurance.

Parking is available on Hornby Street , in the Pacific Centre Mall or next door in the Hotel Vancouver. If you are coming by Skytrain, the Burrard Street station is close, and buses run along Granville Street, Robson and Hornby.

Welcome Welcome to Earthmed Naturopathic clinic (604-878-9111), the office of Dr. Jennifer Doan. We continue to see new patients. Effective January 1, 2002, changes were implemented to the MSP Supplementary Benefits Program. Specifically naturopathy, massage therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractic and non-surgical podiatry services will be insured benefits only for those beneficiaries receiving MSP premium assistance (ie < $24,000 annual). Premium assistance patients will be insured for a total of 10 visits per calendar year for any combination of these services. The existing payment schedules will be replaced by a fee of $23 per visit up to the maximum of 10 visits. This is good news for patients with extended health insurance. Those with extended benefits will be reimbursed by their plan up to the amount allowed. Dr. Doan has two licences, naturopathy and acupuncture, so claims can be made under either. No medical reference is necessary to visit the office.
