British Columbia Wildlife Watch, the provincial wildlife viewing program,
was initiated in 1989 by the Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks
(now called the Ministry of Environment).

Since April 1st, 2001, this provincially unique and valuable program
has received $0 in operational funding,
including no financial support for the ongoing maintenance and development of this web site.
