|The Shoreline Park area has some mammal viewing. Coyotes, Raccoons, Douglas' Squirrels, and the occasional Black Bear and Mule Deer may be observed. Harbour Seals are frequently observed. On rare occasions, whales have been observed in Port Moody Arm, including Killer, False Killer and Gray Whales.
A number of amphibian and reptile species inhabit the Shoreline Park area, including Western Toads, Pacific Treefrogs and Common Garter Snakes. In the fall, Coho and Chum Salmon can be observed in Noons Creek. The best viewing time to see adult spawners is just after a heavy rain.
