"PermaWash" or "Hypo Clearing Agent" - OPTIONAL "PermaWash" or "Hypo Clearing Agent" is used to reduce washing times of prints - only needed if you are using fiber based papers or if you intend to tone the prints. If you are short on fresh water or pay for the amount of water that you use, then this is worth looking into as the clearing agent will cut your washing times dramatically. Normal, untoned prints, using resin coated paper, do not need to be treated with "PermaWash" or "Hypo Clearing Agent", as the washing time is only 5 minutes. Generally follow the manufacturers directions, or the times listed at the bottom of this page. Wash water should be approximately 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
