| Dr. Tan
is a Traditional Chinese Medicine physician
(Dr.TCM), and has excellent knowledge and vast
experience in Chinese Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.
She is also a senior instructor and the director of
Student Clinic at
The International
College of TCM of Vancouver
. Dr. Tan began practicing acupuncture in 1975 in China. In 1983, she graduated as a TCM physician at The Nanjing University of TCM , a top university in the field, and undertook a one-year residency training for Chinese acupuncture at the Suzhou Hospital of TCM. Before coming to Canada, she worked as an instructor in the Dept. of Acupuncture at the Nanjing University of TCM and as a Dr.TCM in the Acupuncture Department of Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of TCM. She has published a dozen papers on TCM. |
Dr. Tan has been practicing TCM in Canada for more than 15 years, and is currently registered with The College of TCM Practitioners and Acupuncturists of BC as a Doctor of TCM (Dr.TCM) and an Acupuncturist (R.Ac.). |
