DVD to SVCD guides

There are other ways of making a SVCD but I will only list two methods that I think are the best ways of doing it.

DVD2SVCD

This is probably the easiest way to create a SVCD for beginners.  This program combines all of the software needed all in one easy to use program.  It requires CCE 2.5/2.62 or TMPGEnc.  I would suggest using CCE if you use this method but if CCE doesn't work for some reason, you'll have to use TMPG.

TMPGEnc - Standalone Encoder

This method is harder to learn but its much more flexible.  The Quality is almost or just as good as using DVD2SVCD with CCE.  Another good thing about this method is that you can get audio with Dolby Pro Logic II surround sound.  The disadvantage is that TMPG encodes slower and the audio and video have to be encoded separately and multiplexed at the end.
