Legislature Grounds

On September 28 2004, we started from the parking lot east of the Royal Glenora Club, walked around to the west side of the buildings, and turned right into Victoria Park. Then we took the path up the hill (turning right half way up) and reached the top at Ezio Faraone Park. From there, we crossed 109th Street to the Alberta Legislature Grounds.

Hill Path
Part way up the hill, we encountered the ghostly remains of the Edmonton, Yukon and Pacific Railway, which we had previously met on May 11 in Mill Creek Ravine.

The Legislature Building has a ribbed dome, reminiscent of the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence (but smaller!)
