On May 18 2004, we walked through Terwillegar Park. To get there, you can go south on Terwillegar Drive (from the Whitemud Freeway) and then turn right onto Rabbit Hill Road. Or you can take the 53 Avenue exit from Whitemud Freeway and go south on Riverbend Road and then turn right onto Rabbit Hill Road. Then just follow Rabbit Hill Road to the park.
It was a beautiful sunny day, about 24°C (75°F). Saskatoons and pin cherries were in bloom, but choke cherries were not yet blooming.

The buds of the pin cherry look like pins pushed into a pin cushion. This is one way to tell a pin cherry from a saskatoon.
