"Happy New Years!"

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I know, I know, not much has changed here in a while. We'll have to see what the New Year brings. My 10Mb of UNADVERTISED web space is full and I'm looking for solutions. Be patient!

"Thing were busy today."

I've had a few different projects on my shoulders as of late. My car is slowly coming together. Most of the bodywork is done surprisingly thanks to Boris. However as most things in my life I've come to block. Because of the bondo work and spraying of the primer, I had some over spray under my hood. Because I'm having the rest of my car professionally paint I figured that I could save a few bucks and paint the over spray my self. As it turns out I can't find my car colour anywhere cheap. Lordco only sells it in mass quantities and Canadian Tire doesn't even have my colour code in their guide and the dealer want $40 for a small can. I'll likely need multiple cans. Grrrrrrr.

"Who's the Man?"

Well if you haven't heard Neal 'Papa Coombez' is getting married (What a crazy Fu@ker) and he's asking me to be his Best man. So no I'm trying to plan one crazy stag. The only problem is that I've only been to one stag before and don't really know what to do with him. I do have some outrageous ideas but like it says they are outrageous and I either don't have the funds to pull something off like that or the Idea will likely land us in jail.

Well I'm off camping that's all for now.

No, I'm not still at BCIT, but I do need to keep learning. The industry that I'm in, electronics engineering, requires that I constantly keep my brain moving, pumping out new ideas, and most importantly keep trying to implement these ideas. I always have new ideas running through my head and am constantly coming across new things that I'd like to learn. I know that if there's stuff that I want to learn then I should just stop dicking around and teach myself, but the dilemma that I find myself in is that I'm always out somewhere 'hanging out' or at my girlfriends'. Because of this, it is hard to get rolling. For most of the stuff that I want to learn or better myself at (ie. Programming in C/C++, Html, Java, Flash) I need a computer and since I'm always out and about I'm never around one long enough to do anything productive. When I do finally get around one for a few days and start something I end up going out and not coming home for a few days. So what's the solution to my problem? Well the solution that I came up with is to get a Laptop. Okay problem solved, but I don't have any money and used laptops tend to keep their value (trust me I've checked). This is where I get down on my knees and beg all my faithful and not so faithful reader, if you have a spare laptop that you would like to donate or pass along at a reasonable price let me know. With a laptop I would have the resources to update my site a lot more frequently then what I do and it would let me add a lot of new interesting innovative things to the site. It also would allow me to work on my many other projects that I would share with you.

"Car are fun."

As I write this I'm in the middle of tearing my car apart. If it can go wrong, it will. When I bought my car I knew that I needed to fix a few things up and that was negotiated into the price of the car. At first I figured that I could leave some of that stuff for a little while other things had to be done much sooner such as getting new tires.

Okay, okay, enough blabbing this is what's fucked with my car. I got into another accident (yup that's right, another one) and I now need a new fender, light, grill, and some paintwork done to my car. Also, I need to get some new tires; at least 2 since if I leave them for more than 3 days they kindly empty themselves of their air. My wheel bearings are shot, the amp for my subs doesn't work, my rear brakes are gone, the left rear window works when it feels like it, and now just a day and a half ago my alternator decides to go on the frits. Can you tell that I'm having fun with my car?

"On another note."

I finally reworked my cover letter and resume with the help of my beautiful girlfriend Christy. Some say I wasn't getting any interviews because my cover letters sucked, others say it was because I never applied anywhere, I say it was because I knew my cover letter sucked so bad that I never sent it out.

"I have no excuse for it."

It has been a while since I last updated my page. It's not like I had nothing to say or post. I just got lazy. I was, however, still working on it while you might have thought that I wasn't. I've been trying to verify all the pages on my site so that they are up to standard. What standard you ask? Well I don't remember right now and I don't want to look it up (there I go being lazy again.)

"Hmmmm? Let me think what else is new... "

Well I finally found another car. Yup, that's right after another 4 months of searching I've found myself another 1995 Passat GLX VR6. This one seems to be in better electrical shape than the last one, however, it has 30 thousand more kilometres on it. Now that I've bought my car I have no more money. And when I mean no more money. I mean my Visa's max'd and it's gonna take me a while to pay it off.

I got lots more to say but I'm getting bored writing.

"New Sound"

Vancouver has a new sound at 94.5 FM. For those of you who like rap and R&B check out this new station call The Beat. They are doing testing of the station right now so there are no commecials or djs.

"Crap"

It's official with $9000 worth of damage to my car; it is headed for the junkyard. Time to start looking for a new one. :(

"I'm back on the 'Heel-Toe Express'!"

If you've just heard that I got a 1995 Passat VR6... I did... and now it's gone. Just this past Friday I smashed my car. For the past few days I've been moping around replaying the incident in my head over and over again picturing my baby slide into that intersection and clip the other car, but instead of looking at the bad side (the fact that my insurance is going to go through the roof) I've decided to look at the good that might come out of this. I've been looking into getting some aftermarket parts, but after going back to see my car again on Tuesday it looks like I'm going to have to start searching for a new car. :(

"Something New?"

Well we're now up to version 4 point 0. Nothing major has changed other than the menu. I've added a 'Main' page, which I should have called the 'New Topics' page. This page is so that I don't have to add stuff to the bottom of the menu like I did before. Secondly I've added a 'Junk' page where I've put some stuff that doesn't need to be on the main menu. I also hope you like the secondary names we thought up of. Enjoy.

"Another year has come and gone."

It's been a while since I've post a journal entry. It seems that I get lazier and lazier everyday. Well where do I start... First off I'd like to wish my kid brother a Happy Birthday, you've now hit the big two-zero. Time to grow up and stop playing all those video games. Just joking, play all you want, just keep your head in your schoolwork. You'll be done before you know it.

"Public transit!?!? What's public transit?"

Well for those of you who know me, you'll know that I don't use public transit... which was quite odd considering I didn't have a car for the past year and a half. Thanks to everyone who picked my sorry ass up! But that era is now gone, hopefully for good. On the 25th I bought myself a 1995 Volkswagen Passat GLX VR6. It's a nice looking car with a bit of power under the hood (I'll laugh so hard if I beat Nate.) I only wish I didn't spend all my money on the car so I could start modifying it right away. Oh well, at least I have a car now.

Yup, That's Right; it's that time again. Time to have another house party. No, not me, Swan! Again for those of you who don't already know, Swan's decided to tap that second keg and have a party on Feb 2nd.
