The following is a series of resources which have proved very helpful to
those wishing to commence research into a particular area of psychology. For convenience,
I have grouped the sites into numerous categories, and have listed the sites in
alphabetical order. (Hint: To find specific terms, click on the subject
category and then use the "Find" feature in your web browser. Please note also that this is
actually a two-page document, even though it looks like a one-page document.) In order to
expand your online searching, I urge you to consult also the various
categorical directories, search engines, and abstracts databases listed on this page.
As I come across other helpful sites, I will add their addresses to this list.
If before I do you notice that any of the links are dead (or, worse yet, that
these sites require a fee!), please send me a
short note.
Best of luck during your searching!
CAUTION:
The information provided by the following sites is for educational purposes only and does
not replace discussions with and/or diagnoses by appropriate healthcare providers. If
you or someone you know is experiencing difficulties of a psychological nature, see your
family physician (alternatively, see my Associations links, which will
provide phone numbers of organisations that will be glad to direct you to the appropriate
resources).
