wellness workshops
 

are part of the "living wellness" program which promotes stress release and mindful awareness of breath and body.  Each of the wellness workshops are designed to teach stress management techniques, breath awareness techniques and to create a mindful focus of both breath and body.



WORKSHOP SUBJECTS        
 

essentials of the feet
   learn anatomy and alignment of the feet and how the feet can impact how the knees, hips and spine function.
   learn how the feet are the foundation of the body and our firm connection to the earth.
   this class will focus on standing poses as well as movement to stretch and strengthen the feet and will end with guided relaxation.

essentials of the hips
   learn anatomy and alignment of the hips as you discover the limitations and freedoms of hip movement.
   learn how the hips and pelvis are the structural center of the body and how they impact almost every movement of the entire body.
   this class will focus on deep movement designed to strengthen the muscles surrounding the hips and to release tension from the pelvis and will end with guided relaxation.

essentials of the spine
   learn anatomy and alignment of the spine and how to create space between the vertebrae as you strengthen your body from the inside out.
   discover how movement of the body begins with the spine and moves outward to the edges of the body.
   this class will focus on movement to balance and open the spine as the spine lengthens and strengthens and will end with guided relaxation.

essentials of the shoulders
   learn anatomy and alignment of the shoulders and how to create strength and freedom in the upper body.
   learn how the shoulders hold tension and various movements to release built up stress.
   this class will focus on fluid movement and stretching of the neck and shoulders while standing and sitting and will end with guided relaxation.

breath & body basics
   learn basic breath and body anatomy and how the true alignment of the body can create a sense of peace and well being in every moment.
   learn how incorporate a "no stress" lifestyle into everyday living.
   this class will focus on slow mindful, relaxed breathing techniques as well as movement and alignment to stretch, strengthen and calm the entire body and will end with guided relaxation.

   wellness workshops encourage the well being of all employees.   
   wellness workshops are available anytime of day Monday through Saturday in your corporate setting. 
   groups of 2 - 20 are welcome.
   each wellness workshop is 120 minutes or 2 sessions of 60 minutes.
