This is a very nice four place family airplane. Fill the four seats and take up to 100# of luggage and you can still fill the tanks and be within the limits for weight and weight and balance. Economy cruise at 9 gal/hr will have you traveling at 150+ mph for 4 hours or more if your bladder can take it. Maximum useable load is more than 1000 lbs. The cabin heat has been used to -20 deg C and was more than enough to keep both front and rear passengers warm. Plug your MP3 player or CD player into the audio panel, and listen to your favorite songs, or set it so the rear seat passengers only get to listen. There is plenty of leg room in the back seats for people with long legs, as well as head and shoulder room. Interior lights come on automatically with the opening of the separate baggage door, or they can be turned on manually, or made to not come on at all - your choice.

The glass panel gives you all the information you need about your flight. This includes flight information, mapping, a comprehensive engine monitoring system with alarms, and all the information the autopilot needs to take you to your destination. In the unlikely event all the electrical power goes down, and this would have to include the emergency feed directly from the battery, there are enough mechanical backup instruments to get you safely on the ground.

Ignition is electronic with standard mag backup, for easy starting and smooth and economical running. The smoothness of the I0-540 with the 3 blade MT propeller has to be experienced to be believed. The engine is equipped with a heating pad for the oil pan to keep things warm during the winter.
