Spent a good part of the day installing the ELT mount. This is a plate I made which is fastened to the baggage floor with a number of flush pop rivits. |

The ELT mounting bracket mounts to the plate using six 6-32 screws. |

Here is the ELT mounted on the bracket. I wanted the ELT to be accessible in an emergency which is why I mounted it in the baggage compartment. Some planes have it behind the baggage bulkhead but there is no quick access to it there. |
