Fitting doors, Fixing bad things...

Pilot door preliminary fitting.
Used JB Weld to build up the ridge that the door is supposed to seat againts. They specify 1/16 to 1/8 inch clearance when the door is clecoed to the outside of the fuselage. I had almost 1/4 inch in places.... soooo, used aluminum tape with sticky back to make a mould and filled it with JB Weld that I mixed with Cab-O Sil to thicken it up. Seems to have worked, but JB Weld takes close to 24 hrs to gain its full strength, and since I have to sand it to shape, that means I get to wait.

Cleaned the shop, sprayed the grape vines and apple trees, turned on the water to the outside taps, and I still have 22 hours to wait....
