The plane is at the airport. We moved it Friday late afternoon. Sunday was spent getting the workbench and stuff set up so I can find tools and things when I need them. Next trip to the airport, I can start assembly work.

Today the plane left it's nest for the trip to the paint shop. When they finish painting the next stop is the airport. A big milestone...!

Just need to do a bit more sanding and the fairing around the windshield is finished. I have made arrangements to go to the paint shop on Friday. Thanks to Jim Jewel for the help to rivit the front skin in place. I also resolved the problems I had with the audio panel. Turns out the connectors on the audio panel were not seating properly. Also had two wires reversed on one of the passenger mikes. All is well.

I checked with the firm I ordered the audio panel connectors from a week ago to see how much longer it would be before they arrived. They hadn't even been ordered yet !!!! I'm stuck. I need those connectors before I can proceed. I don't want to put the top skin on over the panel area until I know the panel is working properly. I scuffed the fuselage skin in preparation for the paint, mounted the fire extinguisher, labeled the bowden cables, and generally puttered around. I'm PO'ed.

Filled the brake system with brake fluid today. Parking brake works and holds pressure.
Scuffed the outside of the fuselage in prep for paint. Connectors for the audio panel have not arrived as yet so I'm trying to make work.
