Elizabeth
Ball was a uniquely effective Vancouver City
Councillor from 2005 - 2008, and has a special interest in cultural industries and the needs
of seniors, children and youth.
As a small business owner, she understands the needs of
Vancouver’s business owners and their employees.
A long time resident of the Cambie/Main area and a mother of
two, she is inspired to work to create safer streets and
creative places where children’s lives can be made full
and meaningful.
Elizabeth was the award winning creator of Carousel Theatre
Company and School and served as Managing Director for
twenty-seven years. She taught at the University of British
Columbia for several years.
She serves on many local and
regional civic boards and committees and is on the executive of a
number of charitable organizations.
