Frequently Asked QuestionsHere are some of the most frequently asked questions I've received:
No. Although I often sound like I have a cold, in fact, this is just what my voice sounds like. This is because a surgeon cut too close into my vocal cord nerve during one of my surgeries. I subsequently had radiation to my neck area that took care of that vocal cord for me. I used to have a much softer voice that could barely be heard, but I have since had some procedures (teflon injections) to move my paralysed vocal cord over so the other one does not have to work so hard to meet up with it. Gary Craig, EFT's founder, says try EFT on everything. It may help you with your problem. I have seen EFT work on all sorts of unusual situations. Telephone sessions are easier for me to do; I don't have to tidy my living room or home office; and they are just as effective as in-person sessions. I charge less for telephone sessions to encourage people to use this method. I hope you mean inexpensive. I am able to keep my prices low because I keep my costs down. I do not have staff, I do not pay for office space, and I use the internet and word of mouth for advertising. I love referrals, but I insist that the person in question contact me. I am not interested in clients who make no effort themselves, because they tend not to ready to accept the healing of EFT. No. I have my long distance callers phone me. Apparently, amazing deals are available if phoning from within North America or even from France. My own service provider includes 200 free minutes of international calling per month, so I sometimes use this for clients without out good service plans. For telephone clients I usually ask that they pay me in advance using PayPal. I get their email address and invoice them and they simply follow the directions and I receive notification that payment has been made. For in-person sessions, I accept checks. A psychological reversal is an unhelpful attitude or belief, conscious or unconscious, that can stand in the way of healing. These include such statements as ``I don`t deserve to heal, ``others don`t deserve for me to heal``, ``I want to keep this problem``, this problem is part of who I am``. There are many other examples of this, and these are dealt with using the karate chop point or the sore point and repeating the statement, ``Even though -psychological reversal here-, I deeply and completely accept myself. Yes, once or twice a month I put on a group session in my home or in someone else`s home. These are a very good way to experience EFT at my hands and try me out for very little expense. Certainly, as long as we can agree on a good time for both of us, and as long as I have no other bookings. Probably. Talk to me or send me an email about your beneficiaries and your event. Gary Craig says that EFT addresses imbalances in the energy system. I personally think that it is a powerful technique to fire up one`s immune system, release stress and poisons from the body through the use of tapping on meridians, and by the way, the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is in intimate communication with the brain through a variety of chemical and electrical means. We are learning more about the psycho-neurological aspects of the body, stress, disease and psychological health. Daily new information is coming out about the mind-body connection. Really, no one really knows. See the answer above for my take on it. If you have a serious disease or auto-immune disorder, I recommend doing EFT as often as you can work it into your day. If you are a healthy adult with no identified issues, then I recommend going through EFT until you have forgiven anyone who has ever hurt or harmed you, for every trauma in your life. Do it once or twice daily until you have reached this place. If you have any issues with clutter, money, character flaws that you would like to erase, addictions, phobias, fears or shyness, then use EFT to address these issues. If you work with people who drive you crazy, try tapping for this issue, and even for them. Use EFT to deal with your daily stresses. If you play a sport, use EFT to perfect your game. I love this question. It shows both hope and I think, some faith in EFT. After all there are many examples of EFT working wonders on life long issues such as phobias and fears. If you have an auto-immune disorder, you need to understand that your whole body needs to be reprogrammed and that this takes time. Besides doing daily EFT yourself, get yourself a qualified EFT therapist who is experienced in your type of issue. This can save you months of ineffective tapping due to psychological reversals. Your therapist should be addressing your reversals for you so that you can more easily make headway on your own. Of course. Just not collect. Not yet, but I intend to, in the near future. Collarbone breathing is a technique used when someone 's energy is very much off kilter. I can often feel this energy as a disruptive force in the room, even during telephone conversations. I might ask the client to say "I am in my centre", and surrogate muscle check this statement. If it tests weak, I will proceed with by guiding them through collar bone breathing as outlined below. People in any state of anxiety will benefit from CBT or Collarbone Breathing Technique. This is the variation of this technique that I use, but other variations seem to work as well. If you get lost in the process, just repeat the entire breathing sequence for that side, etc. Sometimes I will take a client through a sequence more than once if my intuition leads me to;sometimes I will skip complete sections. Most often, I just follow the procedure listed below: Collarbone Breathing

How does EFT compare with talk therapy? Can anyone use EFT to help themselves? When is it better to get help from an EFT practitioner? If I want to help my friends and family should I use EFT on them? Is there any thing else I can do? Will you treat groups of people at a time? What terms? What can EFT be used for ? |
