Activities

• Hiking:  The Holland Creek Trail is at our backdoor.  This trail is approximately four kilometers, making it a refreshing two hour hike.

• Kayaking: Lessons and rentals are just a short distance away at Sea Legs Kayaks .

• Golfing: We are located about ten minutes from Mt. Brenton Golf Course.  There are four     other challenging eighteen hole courses in the area, Cowichan, Duncan Meadows, Cottonwood, and Nanaimo. Approximate cost for a round, $ 25-$ 40.         

• Beach Combing: Collect shells, bird watch, or build yourself an evening fire.  For the more adventurous, a row boat and canoe are at your disposal.

• Walking & Shopping: Don't overlook a stroll through Ladysmith, with its historical heritage buildings, a unique example of a relaxed lifestyle.  Look for us in the April issue of the Harrowsmith Country Life magazine.  We are listed as one of the ten prettiest towns in Canada.

• A short car ride and you can park and browse the World's largest gallery of murals revealing the history and mystique of the Chemainus Village. On your walk you will find many wonderful antique and gift shops.  Drop by the Chemainus Theatre and reserve a night to have dinner and see the play.  Guaranteed to be the highlight of your holiday.
