United Kingdom

May 2002

My trip started out in London. I spent a few days there, and then headed up to Stow-on-the-wold, a small English town in the Cotswold region. Next I went up to York, which had a lot of historic Viking, Roman and Medieval history. Edinburgh was next, which was probably to highlight of the UK for me. Lots of cool stuff there like the castle, Royal Mile, and Arthur’s Seat. Then I took a bus to Aberdeen where I stayed with the Wells, who are family friends. The Wells showed me around Aberdeen and were really nice. After a few days there I took a long night train back to London, and flew to Brussels for £11, or $25 Canadian.
