Miscellaneous Stuff

Here's a bunch of stuff that happened between Amsterdam and Switzerland. First was the opening of the Killiani Volkfest, another Wuerzburg festival with lots of traditional German costumes and music, along with an amusement park. We saw the parade where everyone walked from the Residenz to the fairgrounds. The mayor opened the celebrations by driking a litre beer. On the same day was MTV campus invasion, a huge concert at the University. We saw Monster Magnet, Wir Sind Helden, and Sportfreunde Stiller. Wir Sind Helden was awesome - they're a German band. Finally, later in the week we went to a birthday party for one of our friends - Anna, an exchange student from Iceland.
