FORMAT:
Electrics only flying 10am till 9:00 pm Saturday & Sunday. Pilots' meeting 9:45.
You MUST have MAAC or AMA insurance to fly with us. Sorry, no exceptions.
BBQ Dinner Saturday around 6 - BYOB.

FOOD:
We will have a barbeque on site & some canned beverages availible. For dinner, bring your own drink, we'll supply the meat, spuds, salads and desert, plates and plastic cutlery.
COST:
$10 landing fee, plus $10 for dinner at the field per pilot.
FLYING and NOISE RESTRICTIONS: Our field has both flying and noise restrictions. Please see this link for information on the flight area restrictions. Regarding noise, being an electric fly in this shouldn't be a problem, however if you have a screaming "wing" or similar, please leave it at home.
We will have charging stations (generators) available at the field, so bring your power supplies and chargers. We have picnic tables and toilet facilities available as well.
DIRECTIONS TO THE FIELD:
Coming from the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal:
Follow the Pat Bay Highway (HWY 17) South until you reach Island View Road. Turn LEFT on Island View Road. Turn RIGHT immediately after the green barn (Michell's Barn) on Lochside Drive and proceed approximately 1/2 km to the field, which is on your left.
Coming from up Island:
Follow Hwy 1 South to McKenzie Ave. Turn left on McKenzie and proceed East up McKenzie until you see the signs directing you to the BC Ferry Terminal. Take the exit onto Hwy 17 North and proceed approx 5km to Martindale Rd. You'll pass a Co-op Gas station/convenience store on your right; the first road on your right after the Co-op is Martindale. Turn Right on Martindale and proceed 1/3km down. Turn left on Lochside Drive and proceed approximately 1/2 km to the field, which is on your right.

CAMPING:
We have LIMITED DRY camping available at the field. This will be allocated on a first registered, first served basis.
