This is Amber - we got her to
keep Stewy company.... as Candi is not doing too well.
She was born July '02.

We're hoping that eventually Stewy and Amber will become
best of friends.

Did someone say - BIG RAT??

This is Bluebelle - she's a dumbo blue rat.
She was born March 2003. What a Sweetie!

It took a while, but Amber eventually accepted Bluebelle
and now they're best of friends.

Meet Sox and Kitty - our newest additions. They filled the void that
Amber and Bluebelle left.Although we don't believe they are sisters, they were raised
in the same cage and have never fought with each other. Very friendly!

*UPDATE - September 2004 - True friends to the end!! We lost Bluebelle much too early - she was just over a year but had developed many lumps. She was our baby! So cuddly and sweet. She took her last breath on 12th September and Amber missed her terribly. Sadly enough Amber passed away one week later on 19th Sept - never showing signs of sickness - she was always our 'healthy' rat at almost 2 1/2 years old . She just stopped eating and drinking and 2 days later - she was gone. Amber and Bluebelle are back together.
We will miss you both!

On July 10th 2001 we lost Candi to a very large tumour under her right
arm. We will miss you very much Candi!!

On April 17st 2003 we lost Stewy. She was having respiratory problems and died
choking on a pea. Stewy was a very special rat with a very special personality. She's now
buried in a special place in our backyard. Shaelyn will miss her very much.
