Apple Sauce Recipe
This apple sauce recipe has originated from long ago.
It is so easy to make, and so good, it just has to be shared!

This is a great recipe for your abundance of fall apples. No sugar necessary,
as freezing improves the natural sweetness of the apple.

Ingredients
4 large or 6 medium organic apples -(if not organic then peel)
2 Tbsp. lemon juice - (bottled lemon juice is fine)
1-2 Tsp. ground cinnamon -(adjust accordingly to taste)
1/8 - 1/4 Tsp. ground nutmeg -(adjust accordingly to taste)

1/ Quarter apples, core, leaving the skins on, as there are a lot of nutrients and fiber in the skins.

2/ Put the apples, spices and lemon juice into a food quality plastic bag. Flatten the bag for easy storage. Use a drinking straw to draw out all the air, and quickly seal the bag shut with a twist tie. The more air you can remove, the longer the frozen apples will keep. The flattened bags will take less space in your freezer, and stack better.

3/ To thaw, take out of the freezer and place in the refrigerator overnight before using.

4/ Empty the whole bag of apples into your food processor and give the apples a good whirl, and voila... you have wonderful, refreshing apple sauce.
