Proper Bra and Cup Size Tips
Band Size
1/ Take a measurement around your body, just below your arms.
If this is an even size this is your bra size, if it is an uneven number
add 1 and this is your bra size.
With the correct band width, you should be able to reach around,
and with your finger, lift the band 2 inches fom your body.
Cup Size
2/ Next take another measurement around your body loosely over
the largest part of your breast, record this figure. Next subtract
your band measurement from your bust measurement, and this becomes
your cup size
The bra wire should completely encase your breast.
3/ For example, a band size of 34 inches and,
a bust measurement of 36 inches, will give a B cup.
Subtract the band size from the bust measurement.
(36-34=2), the cup size is B.
1=A, 2=B, 3=C, 4=D.
Each inch recorded, represents a bust size.
4/ The bra should fit properly using the middle hooks.
5/ A too small bra will cause your busts to bulge and a too large bra will cause your bra to wrinkle.
To check for budges, slip a t-shirt over the bra, if there are any bulges, they will show.
If you have one breast that is smaller than the other, pad the smaller breast.
6/ As all the measurements are approximate and can vary slightly from person to person.
Different brands can vary in size and fit. The real test is how does it fit on you and how
does it make you feel. A proper fitting bra should make you feel really on top of the world.
Too many women wear the wrong size bra. A too tight bra prevents the flow of lymph
within the breast and arm pit. This lack of flow can cause disease of the breast,
